Since a very young age, I have been drawn to understanding and helping people. I love the art of holding a grounded container for clients, intuitively identifying the "problem" (a.k.a. the "gold"), and facilitating healing. I have worked hard to hone my skills as a psychotherapist; from presencing to understanding to tools and techniques.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. My Master's is in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. I tend to seek out training regularly, and I have had a lot of training since obtaining my Master's in 2002. I have completed thorough training in Experiential Play Therapy, Voice Dialogue techniques, Buddhist Psychology, the Enneagram and also Syntara System, an energy healing modality.

Since I have known what I wanted to do from a very young age...I have been doing it. I have been working as a counselor since 1994, when I was 21 years old. I have worked at numerous agencies with children, adolescents and families. Since 2010, I have expanded my experience to include adults. I have been in Private Practice since 2012.
