Cyndi Case, AMFT
for a while now, i’ve been looking to expand my team. i tend to get a lot of inquiries for child and adolescent therapy. adding skilled therapists to my practice allows us to serve more people.
Fortunately, I had two stellar therapists-in-training come to me!
In February of 2022, Cindy Hedlin joined my practice. Cindy obtained her license this month and has started her own private practice! Congratulations to her, and lucky for the Santa Cruz County families who will get to have her as their therapist. You can find her here.
In 2023, Cyndi Case, AMFT joined my team. Cyndi, who is awesome (!), works with children, teens, families and individual adults. She is under my Clinical Supervision, which means that we meet every week to discuss her work with clients. She is working toward getting her license in the next year or so. Cyd is very warm, engaging, an excellent and supportive listener, and an astute and intelligent clinician. She is always learning and pours her heart into her work.
From her website:
“My practice is open to all individuals who may be experiencing a range of concerns, however areas in which I have had additional training, experience, and have a passion for include:
helping children, teens, and adults who are experiencing grief and/or loss
supporting children in play therapy who have experienced trauma
exploring identity, including gender and/or sexuality
strengthening parenting skills and supporting parents who are going through a challenging time with their child/children
utilizing a strengths-based approach to supporting neurodivergent and creative children, teens, and adults, including autistic folks, people with ADHD, Down syndrome, etc.
exploring the impacts of oppression (transphobia, heterosexism, ableism, fat phobia, racism, etc.)
living with purpose and in alignment with one’s values”
